hai raquel, nice to know you. you can start by login into your admin page. Then select Manage menu. You can create category from menu category. Category use for clasified you post or link. Just create what you want to categories your blog. then go to Posts to post a blog. and Page for creating a information page. Remember to Publish it. there is a publish button when you edit post or page.
For frontend setting you can go into presentation menu. And select what themes do you want to use. after selecting you can set for the color or widget. You can find this tab near the select themes.
